In keeping with Creative Lab's spyware history (see link - this made a system of mine unstable for a year), After setting "do not remind again" for registration, updreg continues to run at startup. I will leave you to draw your own conclusions!  link for more info Graham
just annoying, take it out of startup via msconfig, of course you can always just register with creative labs

Not doing anyhing when only drivers are installed, remove the key using Regedit and delete the file JPO
